Health Benefits of the Mediterranean diet
(WTNH) – If you are looking to eat healthier and lose weight this year, you might be wondering which diet works best. Dr. David Katz, founding director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center, explains why so many people are having success with the top eating plan of 2019: the Mediterranean diet.
Eating Mediterranean means introducing yourself to more plant-based foods, healthier oils like olive, as well as whole grains and lean meat.
The Mediterranean diet also ranked as the best for diabetes and heart health.
