
Roy Buchinsky, MD, has been the Director of Wellness for
University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio since 2010. He is responsible
for designing and implementing wellness programs for employees,
communities and corporations.
He is board-certified in internal medicine and integrative and holistic
medicine, which enables him to treat his patients with both traditional
and integrative methods addressing the mind, body and spirit.
He attended medical school in Johannesburg, South Africa, and
completed his internship and residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital
in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was recognized with several
awards for outstanding performance. He was recently named
a 2014 Distinguished Marketing and Sales Award recipient by
the Sales & Marketing Executives of Cleveland in honor of his
community outreach work in the health and wellness field.
Dr. Buchinsky has been in private practice for 17 years, in addition
to being the head of the UH Executive Health Program offered to
corporate leaders both locally and nationally.
He has a passion for public speaking and writes regular columns
in the local newspapers focusing on lifestyle as medicine.
Dr. Buchinsky is a true advocate of health and wellness,
both professionally and personally, and enjoys running half
marathons and playing tennis as much as possible.
