Dr. Michael Dansinger is a nationally recognized expert in dietary and weight loss strategies for disease prevention. He founded the lifestyle-based Diabetes Reversal Program at Tufts Medical Center in Boston after completing a nutrition research fellowship there. His research focuses on dietary personalization and adherence for reversing type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Dansinger serves as a judging panelist for U.S. News & World Report Best Diets and is a scientific advisor for WebMD. He was the nutrition doctor for NBC’s The Biggest Loser for 10 years, where he developed the Biggest Loser Diet. His work has been featured in major national outlets, including Time magazine, The New York Times, and the Today Show. Dr. Dansinger trained in internal medicine and primary care at the University of Minnesota and is board certified in internal medicine.
