
Prof. Andrzej Mariusz Fal was born in Wroclaw, Poland. He graduated from the medical University in 1988, and from the University of Economics in 1996. He is board licensed in allergy, internal medicine and public health. Post-doc studies he spent at Johns’ Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA (1997-1999). He has also been trained at National Heart and Lung Institute in London (1990), UK and at the Hospital in Vesteras & University of Lund (2003), Sweden.
Dr. Fal is currently Professor and Chair of the Department of Organization and Economics of the Health System at the National Institute of Public Health, visiting professor at the Department of Public Health, Wroclaw Medical University and head of the Department of Internal Diseases and Allergology, Central Clinical Hospital, MSW in Warsaw. Prof. Fal published over 300 papers on allergy, pulmonology, public health and biotherapies. He is the editor of three handbooks: two in the field of allergy one in public health. He is the founder and Editor in Chief of “Contemporary Allergy Info”. He is also a member of several scientific boards of Polish and international journals.
