Claire Julsing Strydom is a registered dietitian and co-founder of Nutrition Solutions, one of the largest dietetics practices in South Africa. She is the past president of the Association for Dietetics in South Africa and as one of the most recognized figures in the field, she continues to be a spokesperson for the organization. She completed her Master of Science Degree in Dietetics through the University of the Free State. Yearly, Claire hosts an international nutrition conference for fellow health professionals which is the only one of its kind in South Africa. Her brainchild serves as a platform to further the field of nutrition and dietetics and provide practitioners with current, cutting-edge, evidence-based content. Claire has developed and implemented interactive nutrition education initiatives for various schools including Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy. Claire is an expert within the corporate wellness space. She has presented nutrition intervention programs for both local corporations and large multinationals and she consults to the food and pharmaceutical industries. She contributes regularly to magazine publications such as Longevity, Women’s Health and Woman & Home and has been hosted on a number of health-related television and radio shows. She is registered with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Claire lives in Johannesburg, South Africa with her husband Pierre and son Phillip. She is passionate about empowering people to improve their health through optimal nutrition.
